This is one of the most important days of your life, so allow me to tell the story of your special day as it unfolds, creating images that really capture the spirit of the occasion. I have an instinctive eye for those impromptu moments, ensuring the most important memories from your wedding day will be preserved forever.
My style of working is relaxed, friendly and unobtrusive. My main aim is for you to feel completely at ease and for your wedding day to flow naturally, so for much of the time I am in the background, capturing you and your guests in real moments, although I am more than happy to take any formal group photographs as well.
I have considerable experience of photographing weddings both large and small.

I am highly experienced at dealing with a wide range of people and age groups.
My style is unobtrusive and, unlike many photographers, I don’t spend ages setting up shots. Clients often comment on how delighted they are that I do not keep people hanging around.

Your Questions
How would you best describe your style?
In essence, I photograph your day as it naturally unfolds, capturing real moments and creating a timeless record of your day.
How many images will we receive and do we get usage rights?
From a typical wedding day you will probably receive a minimum of 400 edited images, although many weddings result in well over 1000 images. You are assigned full and unrestricted personal usage rights to print and share all the images
Do you offer Engagement Shoots (aka Pre Wedding Shoots)?
Yes, I do. An Engagement Shoot also allows us to get used to working together prior to the big day and helps you overcome any fears you might have of being in front of the camera.
Can you take photos of all the weddings preparations
Yes, I regularly take photos the day before the wedding as well as on the wedding day itself. Many couples also have a family get-together the following day and I am happy to attend this as well if I am available
Does it matter if you haven’t worked at our venue before?
No, not at all. If I haven’t worked at a venue before, I factor in a venue visit on the morning of the wedding (or before) to familiarise myself.
Can you provide a photo album
Beautifully designed and printed albums with your choice of images are available as an optional extra

How long have you been a professional photographer?
Over thirty years
Can we get prints?
I can supply high quality, professionally printed copies of any images you require (at additional cost)
Do you do formal shots?
Yes, it’s your day, and I will take whatever formal photos you want! To save time, I recommend you make a list of the photos you want in advance
How long after the wedding will the photographs be ready?
Your images are ready around 6 weeks after the wedding. I always aim to try and deliver them sooner than this if possible. Keep an eye on my Instagram page for sneak peeks.
Where are you based and how far will you travel?
I’m based in the Essex village of Felsted but I am happy to travel almost anywhere, including overseas.
How do we book?
If you’d like to book me to photograph your wedding, then you just need to contact me with your requirements. Once you have done this, I will ask you to pay a £300 booking fee via BACS or card.
Do you take Black and white images?
I always photograph everything in colour but can convert any images to black and white afterwards. Just let me know if you have particular preferences.

- Photos taken before, during and after the Reception, including cutting the cake, all the speeches and the first dance
- Informal shots of guests and wedding party taken throughout the evening
